Just a Quick Seasonal Wrap-Up

Hi! If you’re like me, you’ve got a pile of emails in your inbox and didn’t get to all of them last month, and then you got overwhelmed and deleted them without reading, or they slid down the list and disappeared. A friend helped me see why I “preach different” but still manage to go deep sometimes.
While we’re here, I don’t usually do this, but two of my recent sermons surprised me (and ended up being a little more expository than usual, ironically enough after that post), so I’m going to share them with you here in case you want to listen.
My friend Jodi says this one is one of the best I’ve ever preached.
And on the first Sunday of Advent I preached an unlikely passage for the season, James 4:1-10—but it seems to have worked.
