The official launch date for Follower: How Getting Close to Jesus Brings You to Yourself is April 2nd, but friends? It’s just official for Amazon.
Most of my online compatriots prefer to avoid the megalith when possible, and my publisher is not after me for sales because I’m an indie author and the rights are still fully mine. So although I still hope this book will sell well, and reviews on Amazon (if and when allows you to post reviews for a book you didn’t buy there) will matter, it’s kind of my vibe, and I think most of yours, too, to not have the pressure of a gazillion dollar corporations approval of this book breathing down my neck.
Essentially, it’s between you and me (definitely not all up to me—I’m not going to force you to buy Follower, even though I highly recommend you do so) whether this book becomes a bestseller or not, and even if it does become one but doesn’t make official lists. I still have this pipe dream that all 500 books that showed up here on Monday will sell out before the Amazon launch date. That would make me inordinately pleased. How about you? Surely I’m not the only contrarian around here…
But at the end of the day, I’m just excited because I wrote another book, and it’s available for you to read now, and I really hope the things I discovered from Jesus and put into it can be as helpful for you as they were to me.
If you purchase a book (or if you already did—or you backed it on Kickstarter), save your proof of purchase and RSVP for the virtual launch party on April 6th!
Also there are door prizes. Every book you purchase gives you another entry to a drawing, and you can get additional entries if you invite people. You can even be entered into the drawing if you can’t attend the party but bought the book! So go ahead and click on that link and put your hat in the ring. Here are the four potential prizes:

Art Spotlight
I’ve also been making some newer, more or less related, found-object art. I call my assemblage pieces “Graced Objects” and here are the two latest.

I haven’t put them on Etsy yet because I haven’t had time and also because I’m tired of how much it costs to keep listings up there without them selling. I haven’t figured out how to effectively “flog” my art and am open to suggestions.
But if anyone wants one or both of these pieces, make me an offer. I’m not greedy and will consider most!
I really love the heart behind this message.
It’s so refreshing to see an indie author doing things their own way with purpose and passion.
Cheering you on and excited to see this book reach more hands.
Congratulations, Jenn!
