I usually don't, because it's usually a hopeless case and I'm liable to be disappointed for any of the reasons already mentioned. But today it was just there, SO visible. I was delighted.

Compared to my very fuzzy camera photo (even in Pro mode) of last night's supermoon between the pines, your photo is spectacular! I only met you on Substack, so I don't know your previous blog, but I love what you wrote here.
